About a week ago, i had an amount of e135 taken from my account from ZK and have no idea whaat it is for or why it was taken. I've looked on the website and there is no option for this type of thing when i look in the 'neem contact met ons op' section, so have no idea where else to look, or ask about it.
I have checked in my 'eigen risico' area using my DigID, and apparently it hasnt come from there, as it says that i have nothing to pay and the amount through this year that has been paid is not close to this amount anyway, so im wondering why i have had this amount taken from my account.
On my bank statement it says 'Zilveren Kruis Afhandeling Zorgkosten Notas' with a kenmerk number etc.
As you have probably guessed already, dutch is not my first language, so any help with what this is for, or where i can get in touch with them to ask about it would be greatly appreciated :-)
I did have a bill from last year with my eigen risico, and arranged to pay e30-ish a month over a certain amount of months, but that was finished completely last month, so was not expecting anything else to come out from ZK apart from the monthly cost of the premium, so this amount coming out was quite a surprise.
Thanks in advance for any help
Hello Jason, I agree that every bill should be as clear as possible to the receiver. Thank you for contacting us via the community so we can help you get all the answers you need.
First of all, I noticed that you used our Dutch website. Did you know we also have an English version of our website? The documentation on the English website is less extensive but it does contain a contact page. You can access the English website using the British flag in the top-right corner.
Prior to any 'zorgkosten' (costs of healthcare) bill we inform you using an e-mail. We only send this e-mail to people who have provided their e-mailadress to us ánd (!) who have confirmed this e-mailadress. When you receive this e-mail you have more than two weeks to contact us or make a payment plan.
'Zorgkosten' bills are almost always about the mandatory excess (eigen risico) of your health insurance. To view the latest bill you should login again to DigiD. The next step will be to click on the most recent 'declaratieoverzicht' in the top-right-corner under 'mijn ontvangen berichten' (my messages). This will open a PDF-file in which we explain to you why we need to charge you with any costs or why we are going to transfer money to your bankaccount.
Let me know if this helps you out Jason!

@JasonPuttick thus you should check that Zilveren Kruis didnot know your email.
@Anton didnot answer on my question if it is possible to be with Zilveren Kruis without having to give permission for " automatische incasso".
Thanks for the reply!
After looking where you explained for me to look, i have found out what it was for O_O
It was some specialist treatment i needed over the christmas and new year period last year, and had only now asked me for the money. I had completely forgotten about it if I'm honest, which was why i was a bit confused about what it was for, but now i know :-)
It seems that you already have my email address, so i think in future that i must be a little more thorough when reading stuff!!
Thanks again for your reply, and directions :-D
Great Jason, good to see that you have found the information you needed. Should you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask us.
@Feina: If you apply for a health insurance and choose to have your premium automatically deducted from your bank account, you give your consent to have us take out the premium automatically. By using your e-mail address we will inform you by using that medium. Should you choose to opt for regular mail, you will receive your overviews by regular mail. With regards to your question: we have two options that can be used to pay your insurance without an automatic deduction from your bank account, namely betaalmail (acceptmail) and payment by accept giro.
@JochemJ " payment by accept giro. "
The next question is how to organise this.
Is this the solution to this problem? >>>>> Yearly payment AND not taking the insurance by the form on your site?<<<<<<<<<<
Ik heb zeker moeite met automatisch incasso. Ik vind het elke keer een vervelende gebeurtenis. Ik doe het liever zelf.
